Selecting the ideal burial service for a departed loved one is a deeply personal and sometimes challenging decision. It involves weighing various factors and considering the individual’s wishes, cultural or religious beliefs, budget, and environmental concerns. Traditionally, many have opted for in-ground casket burials, but with evolving preferences, cremation, mausoleums, and columbariums have gained popularity. Cremation offers a flexible, eco-friendly option, while Mausoleums provide an above-ground resting place with a sense of permanence. Columbariums, in turn, offer a compact, dignified choice for those who opt for cremation. The key lies in understanding the unique attributes of each option, seeking guidance from experts, and ultimately choosing the one that best honors the memory of the departed and brings solace to the grieving family.
In recent years, a profound shift in end-of-life practices has emerged, with an increasing number of individuals opting for cremation over traditional burial services. This transformation reflects a broader cultural change, driven by a variety of factors, from environmental concerns to shifting religious preferences and practical considerations. As cremation gains popularity, it offers a unique perspective on how society is reevaluating its approach to death and memorialization, leading to a more sustainable, versatile, and personal way to bid farewell to loved ones.

The staff at Evergreen always go above and beyond at such a hard time. They also show how much they care about our loved ones who are placed into their care. I highly recommend them! The marker that was specifically designed for my parents was above and beyond what I ever could have imagined.

Both of my grandparents are buried here and the cemetery staff was very well organized and courteous.
